D&AD Good
Each year the D&AD Awards celebrates the world's best creative work from across the commercial design, advertising, production and craft disciplines, with judging by more than 400 global creative leaders, practitioners and innovators. We were challenged by Neville Brody, the incumbent president, to create the identity for the 2013 awards ceremony held at the Roundhouse, London.
The challenge of designing for this most critical of audiences required an elegant solution — so our identity centred around a neat typographic observation and the design of a custom ampersand.
We composed a typographic palette of superlative phrases, to reflect the heightened emotions of the awards and our tongue-in-cheek campaign messaging.
